2005 Disturbed is forced to cancel the last seven dates of its European tour after singer David Draiman is diagnosed with severe inflammation of the vocal cords.

2006 U2 singer Bono testifies in an Irish court against the band’s former stylist, Lola Cashman, whom the band alleges stole and tried to sell group memorabilia. Bono gives Cashman’s work as a stylist high marks but says she took “unprofessional” advantage of her time working for the band.

2007 New albums from Alter Bridge and Puddle Of Mudd both debut on the Billboard 200 album chart. Alter Bridge’s sophomore effort, Blackbird, sells 47,000 copies to debut at Number 13, while Puddle Of Mudd’s third offering, Famous, moves 31,000 copies to arrive at Number 27.

2014 A new documentary series called Sonic Highways, directed by Dave Grohl and about the making of the Foo Fighters album of the same name, debuts on HBO.
