WIDOW SAYS INVESTIGATION INTO CHRIS CORNELL’S DEATH WAS ‘BOTCHED’

Vicky Cornell, the widow of late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell, said that she and her family were still “looking for answers” about her husband’s death almost a year after he hung himself in a Detroit hotel room on May 18th, 2017. According to the Detroit News, Vicky continues to question the official ruling on Chris’ death, saying that the medical examiner conducted a “botched investigation.”

Vicky said that inconsistencies in the official narrative have led to false accusations and online attacks on her family. She explained, “This has left me and my family still looking for answers, but at the same time, set off this whirlwind of conspiracies. Some of the people are just fans looking for answers, but some of them are conspiracy theorists who have said the vilest things to my children and me.”

PAPA ROACH SINGER RECALLS ‘TERRIFYING’ VOCAL CORD SURGERY

Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix has spoken about his 2017 vocal cord surgery in a new interview with Philadelphia radio station, admitting that he was terrified that his voice would not recover from the procedure. Shaddix explained, “In the recovery process, you don’t speak. I didn’t speak for two weeks before the surgery, because I tried to get the swelling to go down. It didn’t go down, so I had to get surgery, so it was three more weeks of no speaking — that was intense.”

He added that while recovering, he cut out everything that could give him heartburn, such as coffee and tomatoes, but still did not know if he would come out of the process unscathed. He recalled, “You just don’t know if your voice is going to show up again. But luckily, I had one of the best surgeons in the business. She did Steven Tyler‘s, Adele‘s and Meghan Trainor‘s surgery.”
