2007 U2 singer Bono is presented with an honorary knighthood by representatives of the Queen of England in Dublin. Bono is knighted in recognition of his services to the music industry and for his humanitarian work.
2009 Guitar Hero: Metallica, just the second Guitar Hero game based around a specific act, arrives in stores for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game features 28 songs from Metallica plus 21 additional cuts from artists such as Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Slayer, Queen, Thin Lizzy and other personal favorites of the group.
