1975 “Rock And Roll All Nite” by Kiss peaks at Number 68 on the pop chart.

1991 For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge by Van Halen is released.

2004 Ex-Creed frontman Scott Stapp joins a group of musicians suing a Florida strip club for playing what they claim to be “unauthorized music.” The artists, who include Janet Jackson and others, say that the Diamond Dolls club has its dancers gyrate to their songs without paying the proper performance royalties.

2005 Good Charlotte cancels an upcoming concert in Indonesia over fears of terrorism.

2005 Foo Fighters releases its fifth album, a double-CD set called In Your Honor that is half electric, half acoustic.

2006 Seether announces that it has officially parted ways with guitarist Patrick Callahan.

2006 A.F.I.‘s seventh album, Decemberunderground, debuts on the Billboard 200 at Number One, selling 182,000 copies in its first week of release to earn the Goth-punk band its first chart-topper.

2010 Puddle Of Mudd announces it has parted ways with bassist Doug Ardito, a member of the band for nearly 10 years and co-writer of the group’s signature tune, “Blurry.”
