2003 Late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and his widow, singer and actress Courtney Love, are named the “Hottest Rock ‘N’ Roll Couple Of All Time” by Blender magazine.

2007 Linkin Park‘s Music For Relief organization teams kicks off an eBay auction to raise funds for recovery and reforesting efforts in the Southern California areas devastated by that fall’s wildfires.

2017 Kid Rock and Staind frontman Aaron Lewis both sever ties with publicist Kirt Webster, following country singer Austin Cody‘s accusation of sexual assault against Webster.

2017 Marilyn Manson returns to the stage for the first time since a stage prop fell on him and broke his leg a month earlier at a show in New York City. The wheelchair-bound Manson’s performance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest in San Bernardino, California immediately creates controversy when he points a fake assault rifle at the crowd, just hours after a shooting rampage in Texas leaves 26 dead.
