1992 Soundgarden‘s Badmotorfinger is certified gold.

2001 Just Push Play by Aerosmith is released.

2001 Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland releases the first album from his side project Big Dumb Face.

2005 Nickelback confirms that former 3 Doors Down drummer Daniel Adair has officially joined the band, replacing Ryan Vikedal.

2005 The New York Times publishes a lengthy article reporting that after 11 years and $13 million in production costs, Chinese Democracy, the long-delayed new album from Guns N’ Roses, is still nowhere near completion.
