2006 Weezer files a lawsuit against the Miller Brewing Company, alleging that the beer manufacturer used the band’s name without its permission in several ads that ran in Rolling Stone magazine in 2004.

2010 Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong makes his Broadway debut as he begins a one-week stint in the role of “St. Jimmy” in the Broadway production of Green Day’s punk opera American Idiot.
