ROYAL BLOOD MEMBERS RECALL THEIR LAST DAY JOBS

Royal Blood members Mike Kerr on bass and vocals and Ben Thatcher on drums talked about the jobs they held down prior to founding the band back in 2013. Thatcher told Music Feeds during a recent interview, “I was in a wedding band. A function band. So I played the drums, which I still do now, but at weddings.” Story Source: Ultimate Guitar




PEARL JAM EXHIBITION OPENING AT MUSEUM OF POP CULTURE

Pearl Jam will be the subject of a new exhibition at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) in Seattle, it was announced on Monday (May 7th). Billed as the most extensive celebration yet of the group’s music, the exhibit will feature more than 200 artifacts provided directly from members of the band or their Seattle warehouse. The exhibition, dubbed “Pearl Jam: Home & Away,” will coincide with the band’s Seattle concerts and opens to the general public on August 11th.

Pearl Jam archivist and videographer Kevin Shuss said, “With the help of the talented crew at MoPOP, we’re using the idea that we started with at PJ20 and taking the Pearl Jam Museum to a whole new level. Focusing on items from tours and memorabilia from the band’s warehouse, the exhibit will be a must-see for any Pearl Jam fan.”
