1993 Aerosmith‘s Get A Grip enters the album chart at Number One.
1998 The Smashing Pumpkins file suit against Westwood One, claiming that the radio syndicator breached an oral and implied contract by licensing a 1991 interview with the band to U.K. company Sound & Media, who in 1996 released a “book with CD” product that contained the interview.
2001 Marilyn Manson is asked to pull out of the Ozzfest tour stop in Denver, which is scheduled for June 21st, by Citizens For Peace And Respect, a church-affiliated group who claim that Manson promotes violence, hate, and drug use, and was an inspiration behind the Columbine High School shootings.
2003 It’s reported that Tool and A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan shelled out $40,800 for a bottle of wine at an auction in Australia.
2007 Marilyn Manson issues a video for his single, “Heart-Shaped Glasses (When the Heart Guides the Hand),” which features several soft-core sex scenes starring Manson and his girlfriend, 19-year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood.
